k, not sure if this is the best spot for this but here we go.
I was on line trying to see if I could find some scrips for office 2007, if your thinking about getting this, don't, I think xp and 2003 are a lot better. anyways I came across this web page and thought I would share it for all those that do not like jaws, they have a few good points but the page is not very big yet, I can see it getting bigger though.

I think i remember hearing about that site years ago, but I never actually went to it. may do it now just to see what it's like. Jaws is my screen reader though, and for the most part, I love it! :)
when i went to that site, i got a silly jaws patch mp3 thingy i'd seen beofre, and it actually did soemthing to my screen reader, meaning I had to restart, which is a bit naughty really. all's fine here now though.
just tried jaws sucks.com again, and realised that the problem I had was internet exploder related. it just seemed the site closed down my jaws at the same time as playing that mp3 of the jaws patch programme, you know the one, that says you're screwed at the end? hehe
Does Office 2003 work with Windows Vista?
Yes, Office 2003 works fine with it. Have a vista box, and it works very well. Just turn off UAC.
I'm stuck with 07 because that's what the funding program gave me. But for the most part I use stratuspad which can be found at www.jfwlite.com. it's pretty good, although the spell checker could use some improvement. As for the site, I lvoe jaws, but i may go check that out in a moment to see what it is like.
They do have a few good points, and the paul/betty thing was slightly amusing. Although, i still say jaws is awesome.

What is stratuspad? Also i should go check that out, only not sure if I really should because it crashes screen readers! Lol!
jaws sucks.com does not crash screen readers. i thought it did, because when i first accessed it, i e crashed and took jaws with it. i've tried it since, and all you get is the page with that blooddy mp3 playing about the dr jaws patch.
